Second Region

This Act amends the National Investment (Promotion and Protection) Act 1990 by inserting two new sections 6A and 6B concerning the establishment of an Investment Council and a National Investment Advisory Council, by providing for exemption from import duties, sales taxes, and by adding new sections 24A, 24B, 24C and 24D relating to duty of commissioner, certificate of approval to be conclusive evidence, commissioner of customs to verify compliance with list of goods and approval by Minister of Finance.
