Abstract/Citation
These regulations are made in accordance with the Constitution of the People's Republic of China for the purposes of protecting the physical and mental health of juveniles and children (under the age of 16) and promoting compulsory education. Sanctions to enforce their application include forced repatriation of child labourers, responsibility for any damages caused to the health of the child, and administrative punishment by labour authorities. Sanctions are extended to administrators who issue business licences to children, and employment agencies who find them work.
