Abstract/Citation: These Regulations made pursuant to s.9 of the Public Health Act, 1975 (No. 8 of 1975) amend the Second Schedule to the Public Health (Communicable and Notifiable Diseases) Regulations, 1978 (S.I. No.12 of 1978) by adding "Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)" and "Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS)" to the list of notifiable diseases.
