Abstract/Citation: Provides that where section 8 of the said Act applies to special treatment for lone parents in the "Return to Work Programme" under which the National Council for One Parent Families is to provide training and other assistance to persons who wish to return to work, by virtue of section 8(2) neither the treatment nor its implementation is to be regarded for the purposes of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 as giving rise to any discrimination falling within section 3 of the said Act (which deals with discrimination against married persons for the purposes of the provisions in Part II of the 1975 Act).
