Abstract/Citation: Section 57(1) is amended to read: "The insurance contributions payable in respect of employees shall amount to 10 per cent of the total wages of all employees in the service of the employer concerned." (the original wording drew a distinction between employees in the Socialist sector and those in the private sector, with contribution rates of 10 and 15 per cent respectively). The amendments to the Act of 16 June 1988 relate to self-employed workers, with references to the amended version of s.57 of the 1956 Act.
