Second Region

Amends the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Central Rules 1946, under the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act (No. 20 of 1946). Inter alia, inserts new Schedule IA: Model standing orders for industrial establishments in coal mines (classification of workmen, wage payments, shift work, leave, termination of employment, stoppages of work at the initiative of the employer, labour discipline, etc.).
