Abstract/Citation: Regulates the System and Certification requirements to be satisfied in the field of Human Rights in the Fishing Industry. The Regulation aims to ensure respect for human rights by parties involved in the fisheries sector. Establishes the HAM Fisheries Certification System which is to include a. Human Rights Policy; b. Human Rights Due Diligence; and c. Restoration of Human Rights. Establishes a role for the Executive Coordinator of Fishery Entrepreneurs to supervise the implementation of the regulations. The Annex specifies the HAM Certification System criteria.
