The Decree replaces and amends Section No. 1 of Decree No. 27 of 2001 on Approving the Accession of Qatar to the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. It shall be adopted as a Law in accordance to Article No. 68 of the Constitution, with reservations to the provisions of Articles No. 1 and No. 16 of the Convention.
