| Abstract/Citation: | Provides for the development of geothermal resources in Ethiopia. Inter alia contains provisions on the health, safety and welfare of workers in the industry. It is the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure that these are implemented and that they give employment preference to the Ethiopian citizens, provided that such persons have the required qualifications. They are to keep records on employment as well as other matters. The law also protects employees who provide information about licence holders to the competent authority. |
