| Abstract/Citation: | This Law applies to construction workers as well as as those who work on construction sites as independent contractors (“Hitori Oyakata”), and includes a provision (Article 3) calling for the realization of OSH for construction workers including through appropriate service contracts in terms of fees and deadlines. The competent authorities for the implementation, plan of action etc. of the Law are the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLITT).
