Repeals the Principles of Legislation No. 5487-I on health protection of the citizens of 22 July 1993 (Vedomosti Sjezda Narodnikh Deputatov Rossijskoj Federacii I Verkhovnovo Soveta Rossijskoj Federacii, 1993, No.33, p. 1318).
Establishes several dates of gradual entry into force: inter alia, part 3 of article 58, part 2 of article 64 enter into force on 1 January 2015; para 2 of part 1, para 2 of part 3 of article 15 enter into force on 1 January 2018; parts 1-4, 6,7 of article 69 enter into force on 1 January 2016.
