| Abstract/Citation: | Regulates the procedure of referendum establishing, inter alia, concept of referendum, principles of holding a referendum, right to participate in a referendum, circumstances excluding referendums (Chapter I), procedure of coming up with initiative of holding a referendum and establishment thereof, main purposes of holding referendums (Chapter II). Sets system of committees for organization of referendums, as well as training and competencies thereof (Chapter III); also lists of citizens who have the right to take part in referendum, financing of referendums (Chapter IV); campaign, financing thereof (Chapter V); observers, the right to observe referendums (Chapter VI); procedure of balloting, validity of balloting (Chapter VII); procedure of resuming results of referendums and determination of number of inaccuracies; liability for the violation of this law; final provisions (Chapters VIII, IX, X). |
