  ACUTE HAZARDS PREVENTION FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.    NO open flames.    Use water spray, powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide.

  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation Cough. Sore throat. Headache. Nausea.  Use ventilation.  Fresh air, rest.
Skin Redness.  Protective gloves.  Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.

Ingestion Headache. Nausea. Vomiting.  Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.  Give one or two glasses of water to drink.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: filter respirator for organic gases and vapours adapted to the airborne concentration of the substance. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent. Then store and dispose of according to local regulations.

PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL INFORMATION

Physical State; Appearance
LIQUID WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

Physical dangers
The vapour is heavier than air and may travel along the ground; distant ignition possible.

Chemical dangers
Reacts violently with oxidants, reducing agents, strong acids and strong bases. Decomposes on heating. This produces toxic and corrosive fumes including hydrogen sulfide and sulfur oxides.
