  ACUTE HAZARDS PREVENTION FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE & EXPLOSION Combustible.    NO open flames.    Use dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide.   

 PREVENT GENERATION OF MISTS!  
  SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID
Inhalation Sore throat. Cough.  Use ventilation, local exhaust or breathing protection.  Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention. 
Skin Redness. Pain. Burning sensation. Skin burns.  Protective gloves. Protective clothing.  Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower for at least 15 minutes. Refer immediately for medical attention. 
Eyes Redness. Pain. Severe burns.  Wear face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.  Rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible). Refer immediately for medical attention. 
Ingestion Burning sensation in the throat and chest.  Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.  Rinse mouth. Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention . 

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL CLASSIFICATION & LABELLING
Personal protection: complete protective clothing. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent. Then store and dispose of according to local regulations.

The substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. Bioaccumulation of this chemical may occur in aquatic organisms. It is strongly advised not to let the chemical enter into the environment.

The purity of 4-nonylphenol (branched) is reported as 90% w/w with the following impurities: 2-Nonylphenol (5% w/w), 2,4-Dinonylphenol (5% w/w).
