Ordinance on pesticides
Förordning om bekämpningsmedel [en sueco]
This ordinance (effective: 1 Mar. 1984), published in accordance with the Law on Pesticides dated 23 May 1969 (modified 10 Feb. 1984), institutes a Pesticide Inspection Commission. This commission will be charged with controlling and evaluating the toxicity of pesticides before they are marketed. Chapters on: procedures for requesting registration of pesticides; contents of the pesticide registry; packaging in which pesticides can be sold and appropriate information to be given on the packaging; transport, storage and trade; use of pesticides; products treated with pesticides.

CIS 77-2023 Safety directives for laying tree trunks on ice [Finland], 1976
Puutavaran jäällevarastoinnin turvallisuusohjeet [en finlandés]
These directives apply to the operation of depositing tree trunks on ice before floating them, and to driving vehicles on frozen rivers and lakes. Contents: choice of timber storage area and access roads; preparation of storage area (determination of thickness and strength of ice, table of maximum loads depending on ice thickness, keeping of log book of weather conditions, marking out of storage area and signposting of approach lanes); special testing of ice surface where vehicles weighing over 17t are used; traffic signals; supply of life jackets and spike-soled shoes; maximum speed limits; first-aid stations and shelters; responsibilities. Annexes: warning signals and notices; employers' and workers' obligations.
