Anybody producing or importing chemicals or goods containing chemicals are requested by the Swiss ordinance on substances dangerous for the environment (CIS 90-370) to establish for themselves whether these substances are compatible with the environment. Contents: description and distribution of tasks, evaluation principles of the compatibility with environment (design, determining factor for the environment, hazard evaluation, report on the compatibility with the environment); autonomous control of substances (new and existing); autonomous control of products and objects. Appendices: definitions, labels, technical safety data sheets, disposal, additional information on determining factors for the environment.
