CIS 78-1701 Leg protection during forestry work with chain saws

These directives (entry into force: 1 Jan. 1979) lay down the mechanical strength, the dimensions and attachment system of the protective leggings which it is obligatory to wear during use of chain saws in forestry work. Earlier directives (CIS 75-502) have been modified in respect of strength testing methods.

These regulations, which enter into force on 1 Sep. 1975, specify the dimensions and mechanical strength of protective leggings to be worn by all chain-saw operators.
