Part 1 defines technical terminology and general requirements (length of exposure, TLV calculations for mixed exposures, concentration monitoring). Part 2 gives a list of 225 substances: chemical formula, TLVs (in mg/m3) for continuous exposure (shift of 8.75±0.75h) and for short periods (30 min); table of conversion factors for other units of concentration. Part 3 lays down requirements for the sampling of harmful substances in air, sampling data and analytical results.
