Bekendtgørelse om dosisgrænser for ioniserende stræling [en danés]

CIS 92-724 Exposure limits for substances and products [Denmark]
Grænseværdier for stoffer og materialer [en danés]
This guidance note replaces the one published in Apr. 1988 (see CIS 88-1761). It reviews the regulatory background, describes how exposure limits (8h-TWA) are established and explains the different sections of the exposure limit tables. The following tables are provided: exposure limits (in ppm and mg/m3) for ca.900 atmospheric contaminants (gases, vapours and particulate matter suspended in air), with corresponding CAS numbers; existing or tentative exposure limits (in ppm) for ca.350 organic solvents; exposure limits (in ppm) for ca.350 organic solvents; exposure limits (in fibres/cm3 or mg/m3) for 28 kinds of dusts; calculation methods for exposure limits when several hazardous substances are present; list of 5 welding-related exposure limits; lists of substances, processes and other factors considered carcinogenic (with reference to relevant documentation); highlights of exposure limit changes since the previous edition of the guidance note; list of substances for which the European Communities are expected to set exposure limits (88/642/EEC, see CIS 90-1430), with corresponding Danish limits.

1988

CIS 90-374 Exposure limit values for substances and materials [Denmark]
English translation of the document abstracted under CIS 88-1761. It explains how exposure limits (8h time-weighted averages) for substances and materials are established and how they can be used for evaluating the health and safety aspects of work with substances and materials. The guidance note includes the following sections: list of exposure limits for air pollution from 548 substances; list of 278 organic solvents with tentative exposure limits; list of exposure limits for 21 different types of dust; list of 5 process-related exposure limits (welding) (unchanged from the 1985 issue); list of 277 substances considered to be carcinogenic (an extension from the 1985 list of 42). List of intended changes: reduction of the exposure limit for 17 substances; addition of 11 substances; addition of 5 substances considered to be carcinogenic. The lists are effective from 1 May 1988.
