Version as amended to 2 Apr. 1985. Chapter II of Title II of this law is on hours of work, and Chapter V is on occupational safety and medicine. Title III deals with special rules for the protection of labour, including conditions of employment for bank employees, telephone workers, railway workers, merchant seamen, professional journalists, teachers, chemists and of Brazilian workers in general. Occupational protection of women and minors is also dealt with.
