This code of practice covers: classification of substances, choice of warning sign and labelling for the purposes of the Classification, Packaging and Labelling (CPL) Regulations; the same for the Road Tanker Regulations; criteria for classification (gases, toxic, flammable and non-flammable compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, spontaneously combustible substances, substances which in contact with water emit flammable gases, oxidising substances, organic peroxides, and toxic, harmful, corrosive and other dangerous substances); criteria for determining precedence of classification and hazard warning sign under the CPL Regulations. |
