Resumen |
This standard is effective from 1 July 1983 to 1 July 1988. It prescribes limits for the passage of electricity through the human body, as a guide for the design of protective equipment. Under normal conditions, the maximum direct current passing through the body should be no more than 1.0mA at 8.0V; lower values are prescribed for alternating current. Tables give maximum times of exposure to various combinations of current, voltage and frequency under fault conditions. Conditions of measurement are specified and technical terms are defined. |
