This is a report on the 53 reportable fatal injuries that occurred in the agricultural sector (comprising farming, forestry, horticulture and associated industries) in the United Kingdom from April 2000 to March 2001. Statistical data are given by region, by main activity in the agricultural sector and by accident cause. Short descriptions of each fatal accident are provided.
