Abstract This revised guidance incorporates changes to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 1994 (CIS 95-19) made by three sets of amending regulations: the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 1994 (CIS 95-23), the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Amendment) Regulations 1996, and the Mine (Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations 1996. Changes include amended definitions, new and amended maximum exposure limits for some substance groups, and further guidance on exposure monitoring techniques. Replaces CIS 95-1456.
