Title Health, well-being and burnout of ICU nurses on 12- and 8-h shifts

Abstract Report on the effects of shift work schedules on the health, sleeping habits and the psychological and social well-being of two groups of intensive care unit nurses. The 12h shift nurses experienced more chronic fatigue and anxiety than those on 8h shifts. Job satisfaction was independent of shift duration.
