Abstract |
International Chemical Safety Card. Synonym: 3-heptanone. Short-term exposure effects: irritates the eyes, skin and respiratory tract; affects the central nervous system; swallowing the liquid may cause aspiration into the lungs with the risk of chemical pneumonitis. Long-term exposure effects: dermatitis. Occupational exposure limit: 50ppm, 234mg/m3 (ACGIH 1990-1991). |
