Title Primary sensitization to a single accidental exposure to a flame retardant and subsequent allergic contact dermatitis

Abstract Case report of a worker who suffered blistering of the skin after contact with a flame retardant containing 2,3-dibromocresylglycidyl ether. Corticosteroid treatment was effective. Patch testing verified sensitization to this compound. Primary sensitization resulting from a single exposure has been reported for several other substances, but not for this compound.
