This Code of Practice is a revision of the 1990 edition (see CIS 91-1358). it covers: classification of substances, choice of hazard warning sign and labelling for the purposes of the Chemicals Hazard Information and Packaging (CHIP) Regulations 1993 (CIS 93-1424); classification of substances, determination of packing groups and temperature control requirements for the purposes of the Packaged Goods Regulations; classification of substances and choice of hazard warning sign for the purposes of the Road Tanker Regulations; criteria for classification; criteria for determining precedence of classification and hazard warning sign under the CHIP Regulations. |
