Abstract This 1-2 hour training course includes an instructor's guide, overheads, questionnaire, handouts and workshop material. Videos are available from the Workers' Compensation Board which can be used in conjunction with the course. Factors that influence accidents are explained, as are the reasons why people take risks, and the difference between attitudes and behaviour. Aimed at first line supervisors and management the objective is to enable supervisors to apply various techniques to influence employee behaviour.
