New edition of the regulations that were made on 13 Dec. 1973 under the Workers' Protection Act of 7 Dec. 1956 and entered into force on 1 Apr. 1974. The following aspects are covered: duties of employers, workers, manufacturers and suppliers installing the equipment, legal aspects, features of lifting tables (descending and rising speeds, hydraulic equipment, safe distances, safety devices such as limit switches, dead-man controls and automatic stops to prevent injury, control devices), installation, warning notices. |
