Abstract These guidelines are intended to eliminate hazards during ultraviolet drying of printing materials. Covered are: ultraviolet radiation scatter; ozone; electrical safety; hazards of ink, lacquer or varnish; washing facilities and solvents; housekeeping. A list of chemicals which should not be used in ink formulations is given.
