Bibliographic information Jan. 1986, Vol.43, No.1, p.44-49. Illus. 39 ref.
Abstract This case-referent study of male deaths in certain boroughs of London (United Kingdom) found a significant relationship between nasal cancer and occupations involving heavy exposure to wood dust on one hand, and between bladder cancer and road transport driving and the handling of leather on the other. Consistently raised relative risk ratios for bladder cancer were also found for some other occupations (woodworking, fitting, printing, machining, plumbing and automobile repair).
