| Abstract |
Electrophysical effects related to extra high voltage (130-800kV) were surveyed to determine personnel exposure to electric fields. The electric field strengths and electric discharges to personnel were the important electrophysical factors. Instruments for measuring the field strength at grounded surfaces and at nonzero potentials were constructed. A dummy was used for measuring the distribution of capacitive currents to a person. The dummy can also be used to measure the effectiveness of special shielding clothes. |
