Title Human exposure to EEL concentrations of monomethylhydrazine
Bibliographic information National Technical Information Service, Springfield, Virginia 22151, USA, Dec. 1970. 9p. Illus.
Abstract Human volunteers were exposed for 10min to a concentration of 90ppm of MMH corresponding to the tentative emergency exposure limit (EEL) of this compound. Comparative tests were conducted with ammonia in order to assess irritating effects and odour intensity on a subjective basis. The results of biochemical and pulmonary function tests are also given. The tentative EEL for MMH includes an adequate safety factor and does not produce bronchospasms or severe lachrymation.
