| Abstract |
This article discusses the Commission Regulation (EC) No 1271/2008 of 16 December 2008 on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures which will be implemented in two phases. Contents: GHS and REACH; contents of the Regulation (EC) No 1271/2008 (general issues; hazard classification; hazard communication, packaging, harmonization of classification and labelling of substances and the classification and labelling inventory; competent authorities and enforcement; other provisions). Other topics will be addressed in a second article to be published later. |
