Abstract The new labour standard is the first human rights instrument to focus on HIV and AIDS in the world of work, and was adopted with an overwhelming majority by governments, employers' and workers' representatives from ILO member States at the International Labour Conference in June 2010. Contents: definitions; scope; general principles; national policies and programmes; implementation; follow-up. The booklet also includes the text of a resolution concerning the promotion and the implementation of Recommendation No.200. Also published in Russian, Arabic and Indonesian.
