Title Exposure and dose modelling in occupational epidemiology
Bibliographic information July 2007, Vol.64, No.7, p.492-498.Illus. 37 ref.
Abstract In epidemiological studies, simple summary measures of exposure such as average exposure, cumulative exposure or duration of exposure can be applied suitably in many instances. However, there are situations where these metrics may not be directly proportional to risk. This article outlines methods for developing improved exposure or dose metrics which may reduce the risk of misclassification.
