| Abstract |
This study was undertaken to understand the strenuousness of the work in retail goods warehouses, to identify the hazards to which workers are exposed and to provide occupational physicians with tools for evaluating constraints in various sections of the warehouse. The study was carried out in two warehouses in the Ile-de-France region. The project involved job observations, often in conjunction with dynamic rate heart measurements, together with data collection by means of questionnaires. Several proposals are made with respect to the layout of stored goods, the weight of packaging and work planning. |
