Abstract International Chemical Safety Card published in 1995. Exposure routes: inhalation and ingestion. Long-term exposure effects: lungs may be affected by repeated or prolonged exposure at very high concentrations. Some carbon blacks may contain compounds which are carcinogenic. Threshold limit value: 3.5mg/m3 (ACGIH 1994-1995).
