Abstract The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) (see CIS 03-1035) are concerned with the protection of workers against fires, explosions and similar events related to the presence of dangerous substances in the workplace. This approved code of practice on the storage of dangerous substances is part of a series intended to help enterprises in the implementation of DSEAR. Contents: assessment of risks; elimination or reduction of risks from dangerous substances (control measures, disposal of waste materials).
