Abstract Lead poisoning is recognized in Tunisia as a compensable occupational disease. This leaflet highlights the occupations that present exposure hazards to lead and the clinical symptoms of lead poisoning. It offers practical guidance to technical and medical preventive measures, medical supervision, screening and the approach to be adopted by employers in case of lead poisoning.
