Abstract This Law became effective on 1 Jan. 2002. Contents: objectives (obligation of employer to provide occupational health services); scope; definitions; general principles of providing measures for the health and safety of workers; handling of information (duties of employer and employee to provide information; confidentality; rights of authorities regarding information); control and penalties. Act No.743/1978 on the same subject (see CIS 79-1166) is repealed.
