Once this Act is proclaimed, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1983 (see CIS 90-1407), the Occupational Health and Safety Amendment Act, 1997 (see CIS 99-1401) and the Construction Safety Act, 1912 (see CIS 92-716) are to be repealed. The Occupational Health and Safety Amendment (Dangerous Goods) Act 2003 (No 38.), modifying this Act, repeals the Dangerous Goods Act, 1975 (CIS 91-1763) as of 1 Sep. 2005.
