| Abstract |
These Regulations came into force on 5 Dec. 1996. They oblige employers to make special provisions for the protection of disabled (handicapped) workers, e.g. by providing information in braille, sign language, large print etc. Barriers, guardrails and warning signs must be evident to disabled workers. Monitors must be appointed to assist persons in need of special assistance in case of emergencies. |
