Abstract Regulation (effective 1 Sep. 1984, except for section 104 related to back-up alarm systems for vehicles, eff. 1 Jan. 1985) issued under the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act. It covers: interpretation; general provisions; general provisions respecting machinery; safeguards, warning signs and other precautions; personal protective equipment; safe use of powered mobile equipment and other vehicles; hoisting and hoists; rigging; scaffolding, work platforms and temporary supporting structures; excavations, trenches, tunnels and underground shafts; fire and explosion hazards; confined spaces; demolition work; oil and gas servicing and drilling; forestry operations. Alberta Regulations 267/76 through 271/76 are repealed.
