Abstract This Regulation, filed on 16 Mar. 1977, modifies the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act. It adds gastro-intestinal cancer to Schedule B (schedule of industrial diseases), to be applicable to workers exposed to asbestos fibres. At least 20 years must have passed between first exposure and diagnosis of gastro-intestinal cancer, and exposure must have been continuous and represented a major component of the worker's activity.
