Chapter VI is concerned with occupational safety and health: responsibility of the employing unit to establish and perfect an OSH system, implement relevant state standards, educate workers in OSH matters, prevent accidents and reduce occupational hazards; standards for OSH facilities; responsibility of the employing unit to provide adequate OSH conditions and regular medical examinations for workers at risk; specialized training for workers engaged in specialized operations; obligation of workers to respect OSH rules; right of workers to refuse dangerous work and to take action against dangerous operations; establishment by the State of a system for the keeping of OSH statistics and for the collection of records relating to accidents. Chapter VII is concerned with the protection of female and young workers, including special OSH provisions (women and young persons are not allowed to work in underground mines or work with "Grade IV" physical intensity, etc.). Chapter XI deals with supervision and inspection (including the duties of inspectors), while Chapter XII defines legal responsibilities, including for OSH matters.
