It concerns the following safety and health precautions to be implemented in workplaces where asbestos processes are used: installation of exhaust ventilation; maintenance of cleanliness of plant and premises; provision of respiratory protective equipment and protective clothing; appropriate storage and distribution of asbestos and asbestos waste (including marking of receptacles in English and Chinese); miscellaneous (prohibition of the employment of young persons, medical examinations of exposed workers, prohibition of spraying of asbestos, prohibition of the use of crocidolite and amosite).
