Abstract Regulations effective 1 Nov. 1971 and issued under the authority of the 1955 Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance (see CIS 89-6). They list the duties of proprietors of undertakings where woodworking machinery is used: stopping and starting devices, clear space, floors, lighting, underground rooms, training, machine guarding provisions, maintenance. Persons employed on a woodworking machine are also required to use and maintain in proper adjustment the guards provided in accordance with these regulations.
