Contents: definitions; scope and exemptions; powers of inspectors; licensing of persons to possess, manufacture, purchase, use, sell, handle or dispose of radioactive substances and irradiating apparatus; keeping of records; obligations of licensees; medical examinations; duties of radiation safety officers; duties of persons on licensed premises; radiation measurement; duty of employers to ensure that persons on their premises do not receive radiation doses in excess of the maximum permissible dose; precautions against excessive radiation doses; keeping of radiation dose exposure records; reporting of excessive doses; registration of irradiating apparatus; rules for the transport and storage of radioactive substances; penalties.
